Sandy: I recently started using artificial tears to add moisture to my eyes since one of my eyes seems to lack it. Ninety-percent, who follow the doctor’s recommended daily treatments and lifestyle changes, are relieved, though not cured, of the dry eye symptoms. Besides the eye drops, using warm compresses twice daily and taking Flaxseed Oil are very helpful. When I use my left hand to administer the eye drops my right hand doesn’t know how to position the fingers around my eye to keep the lids open. It feels very awkward. I’m surprised with the tasks my right hand isn’t doing comfortably, because after all, it is the dominant hand, more accustomed to doing small, controlled dexterous movements. The tables have turned.
