Day 268 : AC

268AC

Sandy: Wow! Wow! Wow! Today, the final race of the America’s Cup was so thrilling! I decided to watch it on TV because I could see so much more than yesterday when I watched it from the water’s edge. The boats were ripping with the current and wind, making perfect tacks in close proximity to each other, and demonstrating how they can glide effortlessly on their foils. It was pretty amazing that the Oracle team was able to hone their skills over the last few races and come from behind to win. Now I’m especially glad to have been a tiny part of this, on many levels, historic 34th America’s Cup. I have my official America’s Cup pinny as a souvenir from doing the SUP yoga demonstration for America’s Cup with Leigh Claxton and On Board Fitness SUP Yoga.

Sandy’s year long journey – going from being a right-hander to left-hander, and Kelly’s parallel trip as a left-hander doing things as a right-hander.
