Sandy: I just designed a cover for an educational piece using chalkboard art as the style for a client. It brought back memories of when we were in grade school and used to draw on the chalkboard. It would irk the teachers whenever we drew or wrote on the chalkboards. I’m not sure why, after all, cleaning the chalkboard was often the punishment given for undesirable behavior, which seemed to benefit the teacher. I love the texture and uneven edges chalk makes, much like the chalky pastels I’ve been using for the renderings in my blog.
Sandy’s year long journey – going from being a right-hander to left-hander, and Kelly’s parallel trip as a left-hander doing things as a right-hander.
