Sandy: Lately I’ve noticed I am doing equations in my head and blurting out answers, something I used to do when I used math more regularly, say about 30 years ago. My answers are correct and I am not feeling a lack of confidence in my ability. It’s a subtle difference but I’m thinking I could attribute it to using my left hand to stimulate both sides of my brain. I still remind myself to use my left hand because it’s hard to break the habit of using my right. As using my left hand becomes easier, it is also feeling more natural.
