Sandy: Today I went on a birthday hike with three women I’ve known for over 30 years. They drove to Marin from Santa Cruz, Palo Alto and Pacifica. We parked at Pantoll ranger station on Mt. Tamalpais, stuffed our lunch into backpacks and hiked to a hidden natural spring near Lone Tree. Besides the low cloud hovering over the ocean, it was a clear beautiful day. We could see Mt. Diablo in the east and Sutro Tower and Ocean Beach in the south. As a result of getting a little jostled, our cupcakes were not up to Thiebaud standards but they were still delicious.
Sandy’s year long journey – going from being a right-hander to left-hander, and Kelly’s parallel trip as a left-hander doing things as a right-hander.
