Sandy: I thought one way to get more practice writing with my left hand would be to hand write a draft of my post then type it. I can edit it while typing rather than crossing words out or erasing. I still draw my letters very deliberately. The hardest stroke for me to control is the curved counter clockwise stroke used in some letters, i.e. c,e, a, o, d, q. When I write quickly, the letter sizes are inconsistent. I tense my neck as I write and it is pretty tight when I am ready to quit. My penmanship isn’t that bad, it is at legible. If I just write and not worry about appearance, my writing looks more fluid.
Sandy’s year long journey – going from being a right-hander to left-hander, and Kelly’s parallel trip as a left-hander doing things as a right-hander.
