Sandy: Last night I played a frustrating doubles tennis match. I couldn’t control my forehand while playing on the deuce side. We played against two left-handed players so that took away my return of serve down the alley where I can usually win the point even though it is a low percentage shot. Also a lob deep into the advantage side wasn’t effective either because our opponents could hit the return with their forehand instead of their backhand. Makes me feel bad about my ability. I should have been able to adjust. A few times I thought, “If I only practiced playing tennis with my left hand like I have been eating and writing with it, I could switch hands and confuse them.” (I’m still not over it.)
