Sandy: Tweeze is a word that sounds like one shouldn’t say in public or admit to doing. On the otherhand, etweese, from which tweeze was shortened, sounds so much more elegant. At any rate, tweeze does sound appropriate, especially if one pinches skin instead of eyebrow which happens with my left hand and my right. Does anyone make decent, effective tweezers? One must have a surgeon’s steady hand to use a commercial tweezer and they hurt more because they can pinch the smallest amount of skin. In this case, practice makes funny looking shaped eyebrows.
