Sandy: At midnight I’m acknowledging it to be the halfway mark for writing this blog! I’m quite proud of this accomplishment! Instead of drawing today, I am posting a photograph which was taken at the Italian Street Painting festival in San Rafael yesterday. In this photo you can see the numerous trays filled with varying tones of chalk alongside a chalk drawing. Other artists used pastels which is what I used for a lot of the renderings on my blog. Some of these incredibly talented artists are local, others traveled across the country and a few came from Italy and Japan. The finished art was 12′ x 12′; the size of my palette is 5″ x 5″, so pretty limited but not as arduous.
Sandy’s year long journey – going from being a right-hander to left-hander, and Kelly’s parallel trip as a left-hander doing things as a right-hander.
