Sandy: I just changed the dampener on my tennis racquet from a yin yang design to a surprised looking face. I played in a tennis match this morning with a partner I’ve never met. As it turned out, she was left-handed. Not a big deal because I’ve played with Kelly for many years. When my partner served her first ball on the Advantage side it was solidly struck but whizzed by my ear and hit my racquet frame because of the way it spun off her racquet. I was slightly startled but I think it phased her for the entire match because her serves were so soft afterwards.
Why don’t we yell “FOUR” in tennis like players do in golf?
Sandy’s year long journey – going from being a right-hander to left-hander, and Kelly’s parallel trip as a left-hander doing things as a right-hander.
