Sandy: Today the temperature was about 95 degees F. So we cooled ourselves in our friend’s swimming pool and threw a nerf football around. Because nerf footballs are so light, I have a tendency to overthrow it unnecessarily. So after a few tries with my left arm/hand, I corrected my technique and became quite proficient. I hit, or came pretty close to, my target most of the time, no worse than if I had used my right hand. Funny thing is the less I thought about it, the better I threw the ball.
Sandy’s year long journey – going from being a right-hander to left-hander, and Kelly’s parallel trip as a left-hander doing things as a right-hander.
