Sandy: Last night, two of our dinner guests were left-handed. Both of their children are right-handed. The other couple said their youngest son of three is left-handed. They also told us they had heard that if you have three sons, if the third son is right-handed his sexual orientation is gay but if he is left-handed, he is straight, as was their son. They also shared they have relatives who had 3 sons, the third one is right-handed and gay, and this relative’s brother had 3 sons, the third one is left-handed but straight.
This is what I found on Wikipedia: Based on studies, the fraternal birth order effect suggests that the more older brothers a man has, the greater the probability to be homosexual. The fraternal birth order effect appears to interact with handedness, as the incidence of homosexuality correlated with an increase in older brothers is seen only in right-handed males.
Sandy’s year long journey – going from being a right-hander to left-hander, and Kelly’s parallel trip as a left-hander doing things as a right-hander.
