Sandy: Last night I made a bolognese sauce and had so much fun using both hands to chop the ingredients. It was like I was sharing the tasks with another person, who is new to cooking. Sounds like I’m developing a split personality and in a way, I am. It is like I have a maternal or protective side of me (my right hand) and a less experienced, child or protege, which is my left hand. When I wasn’t confident that my left hand could cut precisely, I used my right hand. If it didn’t matter how something looked, I used my left hand. WE did a good job – the sauce was yummy!
